Where is ETX this year?

ETX is hosted by DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, WA:

9931 Willows Rd NE
Redmond, WA 98052

Where should I park?

Please park in any non-reserved spot with a ‘dp’ logo. Please use spots labeled “Visitor” only for loading/unloading, so everyone has an opportunity for that convenience.

Parking in a reserved spot (including Faculty/Staff) may result in your vehicle being towed, and no one wants that.

Where will I get my badge?

These will be issued onsite. Please have photo ID ready, and be prepared to confirm your e-mail address. Pick-up begins at 9:00 AM on both Saturday and Sunday, and is staffed through 5:00 PM. The registration/pick-up area is located just inside the front entrance to DigiPen.

Where can I eat?

We’re working on getting one or two food trucks on-site for maximum gaming efficiency! But if the truck options don’t suit your tastes, Flying Saucer Pizza and Subway are half-a-mile down Willows Road, and the Redmond Town Center is two miles away.

Where can I stay?

The Silver Cloud Inn Redmond (4.8 miles away) offers a discounted rate for ETX attendees. Check out this PDF for instructions on how to claim the discount. Other nearby hotels include Hyatt House, Residence Inn, Seattle Marriott, Baymont, Comfort Inn, and Motel 6.

Are all-gender restrooms available?

If you prefer all-gender facilities, please visit the second floor.

How do I get into the building?

Please note that your ETX pass provides access only through the front entrance; you are welcome to use any exit.

DigiPen has one bank of two elevators, and stairwells on the west and northest sides of the building to access all floors. Please note the stairwell on the southeast side of the building is not available to attendees. There is also a stairwell across from the elevators, which runs between the 1st and 2nd floors only.
